A landmark since 1975, Shaw Tower is one of Singapore’s earliest mixed-use commercial developments and was once the city’s tallest building. Its iconic Brutalist architecture and legacy as the former home of the Jade and Prince theatres cement its place in Singapore’s cultural and urban history.
Today, the redeveloped Shaw Tower is reimagined as a vibrant mixed-use destination, with conserved elements—including the original Shaw Brothers logo, former building façade, and archival cinema artefacts—woven into its modern identity.

Shaw Towers is part of the Hong Kong-based “The Sir Run Run Shaw Charitable Trust” established in 1995. Decades before, in 1958, Mr. Shaw had already begun to build what would become Asia’s pre-eminent film and media empire the “Shaw Group”.
Shaw Towers’ core business is real estate investment and management of Shaw Tower. Renowned for its exceptional brutalist design, Shaw Tower was an expression of Modernist Architecture in Singapore. Once the nation’s tallest structure, it housed the largest cinema at the time and remains an iconic landmark in the Beach Road community.
